Our client, who has had a wealth of success helping customers plan, build, and execute their digital advertising campaigns, is looking for a Backend Developer, who is motivated to determine the best solutions to the development challenges they face internally.

Things like tools and apps to make the account managers more efficient, reporting apps for customers and strategic partners to use, tooling to help our web designers be as efficient as possible and tooling to monitor status across our infrastructure will be some of the things you will work on in this role.

Backend Developer:

5+ years experience building secure REST APIs and applications using the Laravel framework
Experience architecting entire applications from concept to implementation
Ability to work closely with frontend developers to achieve a common goal
Experience architecting, implementing, and interacting with MySQL databases
Strong oral communication skills and the ability to explain concepts and mentor junior developers
Experience working with the Google Cloud series of products
Experience interacting with the Google AdWords API
Writing JavaScript / Typescript in a serverless environment (Google Cloud Functions)
An understanding of Docker and other container formats


The compensation package is a base salary of between $95 000 to $100 000 plus RRSP Matching, 3 weeks’ vacation, 5 flex days, gym membership, full benefits and continual training to their staff.
