Banking Officer

On behalf of our top Banking client in Canada, Adecco is currently hiring for a Banking Officer to work onsite in Mississauga, ON. To qualify for the Banking Officer role, you must have previous banking experience and knowledge of GIC’s. Strong Excel skills such as creating Pivot tables and VLOOKUP are also required. This is a 1-year contract full time position, paying $19.00/hr.
Banking Officer Main Responsibilities: 
•    Process GIC purchases, roll-overs, cancellations, early redemptions, and Bullion trades within specified timelines
•    Maintain relationship with 3rd party GIC issuers to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner
•    Responsible for the accurate and timely inputting of transactions to client accounts
•    Monitor daily purchases for Provincial and National Savings bonds campaigns; Reconcile and prepare settlement packages as required
•    Investigate and successfully resolve reconciliation breaks between our GIC issuers and ISM client account holdings
•    Update statistics daily and ensure that incoming requests are tracked via the Ticketing system (TRAC)
Banking Officer Qualifications:
•    Previous banking experience and knowledge of bonds/GICs, is required
•    Must have knowledge of ticketing systems 
•    Must have minimum of 2 years of excellent customer service experience
•    Must have minimum of 3 years of experience with Advanced Excel
