Banking Officer

Adecco is currently hiring for a Banking Officer to work initially from home for our client located in Toronto, ON. To qualify for the Banking Officer role, you must have excellent communication skills, previous banking experience, intermediate Excel skills and possess high attention to detail.  

This is a 12 months full time contract position, paying $19.81/hr with the possibility of extension in a fast- paced high volume environment.

Banking Officer Main Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process documents such as cancelled checks or bills
  • Find and correct data entry errors and escalate as necessary
  • Ensure due diligence and quality checks are utilized in processing transactions and information
  • Adhere to industry regulations and operating procedures in completing and recording transactions
  • Banking Officer Requirements:

  • Successful completion of university in a related field is required. Recent grads welcome.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in a similar banking role
  • Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, v-look ups)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client focus with customer service and attention to detail skills
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with peers and other teams
