Banking Operations Officer 

Adecco is currently hiring on bealf of our top Banking client for an Operations Officer to work onsite in Edmonton, AB. To qualify for the Banking Operations Officer  role, you must have previous administrative experience, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a high-volume fast paced environment.

This is a short term 4 months contract part-time position (22.5hrs/week), paying $17.34/hr with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Banking Operations Officer Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process transactions for specialized area
  • Complete a combination of administrative related tasks such as data/teller entry and balancing functions
  • Perform investigations of activities as per policy
  • Adhere to industry regulations and operating procedures in completing and recording transactions
  • Banking Operations Officer Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required. Post secondary preferred
  • Minimum 2- years clerical or administrative experience in similar or related area
  • Previous financial services experience including mortgages/loans an asset
  • Proficient in computer navigation – MS Office
  • Minimum typing speed of 40wpm
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client focus with problem solving and attention to detail skills
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with peers and other teams
