Adecco is currently hiring for a Banking Securities Officer to work in Toronto, ON. To qualify for the Banking Securities Officer role, you must be a business professional with experience in fixed income trading, Bloomberg and Reuters app as well as possess advanced Excel skills including VBA and Macros.
This is a 12 months full time contract position, paying $22.39/hr.
Banking Securities Officer Main Responsibilities:
Ensure corporate transactions such as asset set-up and book value adjustments are processed accurately within the given timeframe
Complete tax reporting according to regulations, policies and procedures
Act as a point of contact for clients and business partners
Utilize experience in fixed income, market settlements and trade support
Adhere to industry regulations and operating procedures in completing, recording and processing transactions
Banking Securities Officer Main Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Post secondary education preferred
Minimum 5-years related experience preferably working in equities, securities, settlements, trades, fixed income markets
Proficient in V-look ups, Macros, VBA
Must have knowledge and experience of market data apps
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Client focus with sound problem solving and attention to detail skills
A team player who collaborates effectively with peers and other teams
