Adecco is currently recruiting a Banner Project Manager for IT to work on a 16-month contract, starting September 2017 to December 31, 2018 with our client located in Ottawa. The candidate must be bilingual in both official languages.

The candidate must have:
- A minimum of 10 years of working in a technical position in IT including 5 years working with Human Resources or Finance
- A minimum of 2 projects working in an IT role in the Higher Education sector
- Lead at least one Banner ERP upgrade mainly Human Resources and Finance
- Lead at least one payroll replacement project
- Experience in coaching and mentoring IT leads and technical resources
- Experience with financial encumbrancing concepts and Banner ERP program/code
- Experience in change management strategies, PROSCI certification is an asset
- Skilled in Oracle SQL (Oracle certification an asset)

Some of the responsibilities include:
- Report to the Corporate Service IT Manager
- Receive directions from the Project Steering Committee
- Deliver project scope within budget and timeline once the project has been baselined
- Complete overall project planning, manage project progress as per plan and provide direction and guidance
- Manage scope changes and change control process
- Assess and manage risks and issues and the escalation process if required
- Monitoring of overall project resources and budget
- Oversee the elaboration and deployment of the change management strategy and plan
- Provide project leadership and motivate the team to meet their objectives.
