Our client is looking to hire top talent for a Benefits Representative job opening in Toronto, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some exposure to insurance / benefits processes and is looking to get into a committed, permanent full-time role in a career opportunity. There would be training involved but the right fit will be someone with a dynamic and outgoing personality, a calming and professional approach, exceptional communication and employee relations skills and a key eye for detail. Accepting and responding to a high volume of calls and emails with various questions, inquiries, concerns regarding employee benefits, claims etc
Providing information and educating on coverage, adds/removals, claims, payments and more
Escalate any issues that are unable to be resolved on the initial interaction and ensure follow up
Researching information to ensure accurate details are provided on either side; liaising between employee and provider where required
Ensure all verification documents, reports, etc are obtained and in the file; follow up where needed
Preparing and issuing letters for various functions of the role
Creating copies, filing and keeping documents organized at all times
Assisting with the adjudication process; coordination and administration-wise
Various data inputting and processing of information; changes, documentation/notes etc
Additional related tasks as required.
The requirements for the successful candidate applying for this Benefits Representative job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to;
At least 1 year of experience in group insurance or benefits related experience combined with further call center experience
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Resourceful and strong interpersonal skills
