Adecco is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk, a full-time permanent role, to work with our client located in Gatineau, QC. The Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk will have to process and keep track of the accounts payable by the company and ensure that the invoices presented are within the established budget.
The Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure receipt of invoices and invoices from subcontractors and suppliers on time;
  • Enter invoices that comply with your budget into the system;
  • Analyze discrepancies between accounting system information and the statement of accounts of suppliers and subcontractors (reconciliation sheet);
  • Answer subcontractors' questions if necessary;
  • Printing of checks within the established deadlines;
  • Track invoices that exceed the budget established with project managers;
  • Follow-up of compliance letters (CCQ, CSST) and reminder to subcontractors;
  • Get annual receipts from suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Calculate and track volume discounts to be received.
The Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • DEP / DEC in accounting;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the accounting system;
  • 1-2 years’ experience of accounts payable;
  • Manage different duties and daily requirements;
  • Demonstrate a spirit of analysis and synthesis;
  • Show team spirit;
  • Communicate fluently orally and in writing in French and English.
