Adecco is currently hiring for a Bilingual Claims Administrator to service one of the largest insurance and financial services companies globally. To be considered for the Bilingual Claims Administrator role, you must be French-English bilingual, have a post-secondary education or related medical administrative experience, and be familiar with Medical and/or Military Terminology. The Bilingual Claims Administrator is being hired for a 1-year contract, paying $19.69/hour, and will be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Bilingual Claims Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound phone calls to our customer base to get an update on their current situation
  • Receive inbound calls and responding to email inquiries
  • Collaborate and liaise with coworkers and senior staff, as need arises
  • Maintain and update files based on the outcomes of the phone call
  • Provide telephone and administrative support for the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Analyst role
  • Bilingual Claims Administrator Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French/English) required
  • Post-Secondary education or related medical administrative experience
  • Familiarity with Medical and/or Military Terminology
  • Familiarity with MS Office required (Word & Excel for tracking)
  • Ability to multi task, think outside the box, and prioritize while working within tight deadlines is essential
  • Strong customer focus and ability to communicate with external and internal clients
  • Successfully complete required changes within established timelines  
  • Ability to learn and apply information quickly, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Navigator system knowledge would be an asset
