Bilingual Credit Manager

Adecco is currently hiring a permeant full-time Bilingual Credit Manager in  Belleville, Ontario.  This position will be of interest to candidates that possess outstanding communication skills, a high level of organizational and problem-solving skills, attentiveness to customers, a technical aptitude and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Individuals with a sporting goods background would be considered an asset.

Job Type:  Permanent, Full-time

Pay Rate: Dependent on Experience

Shifts: Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM

Bilingual Credit Manager Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly reports. Consult/inform leadership concerning the status of accounts receivable.
  • Responsible for assessment of customer risk to maximize sales and minimize bad debt.
  • Co-ordinate all collection activities - Daily collections on specific accounts.
  • Manage the daily receivables and collection activities of the Credit Staff.
  • Recommend policies & procedures for investigating, granting and controlling credit & collections.
  • Manage and adjust customer credit lines based on the current trade and financial information analysis.
  • Co-ordinate receivables and bad debt forecasting process.
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing and Operations staff to minimize credit risk in sales drives, promotions, and other programs.  Visit customers when necessary and attend credit industry meetings.
  • Bilingual Credit Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business to business collections/credit/customer relations in the consumer products market.
  • Diploma/Degree in Business or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with multiple teams and levels within an array of brands (matrix environment).
  • Bilingual - Fluent in both French and English (written and oral).
  • Advanced in MS Office and systems applications.
  • SAP Experience preferred and GetPaid software experience would be a definite asset.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
