Adecco is currently hiring for a Bilingual & Unilingual Customer Service Representative in Halifax, NS. To be considered for this Bilingual & Unilingual Customer Service Representative role, you must have previous experience in a customer service environment, post-secondary education, and be a dynamic, customer service-oriented individual. Our client is a Canadian multinational insurance company and financial services provider. This is a 7-month contract position and has a pay rate for:
- Unilingual (English) $17.50 / hour 
- Bilingual (French/English) $19.50 / hour
Bilingual & Unilingual Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
• Deliver superior customer service by providing prompt and accurate responses to callers 
• Answering claim inquiries via phone and/or e-mail. Customers may be internal or external and their inquiries may vary - a fast-paced environment with a consistent call volume
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
• Effective communication with members and sponsors in a calm and professional manner
• Access appropriate information from various company systems
• Research and resolve inquiries within specified timelines
• Handle sensitive issues in order to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the confidentiality of private personal information
Bilingual & Unilingual Customer Service Representative Qualifications: 
• Post-Secondary education 
• Previous experience in a customer service environment
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Fluency in English - Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Customer focus and solution-oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills – team player
• Strong attention to detail
• Well organized and able to prioritize work
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Must be available to work shifts Monday through Sunday 8:00 am to 12:00 a.m.– in a rotational basis
