Adecco is currently hiring Bilingual and Unilingual Customer Service Representative in Halifax, NS for an Insurance company client. This is a 12 months contract with a high chance of conversion to a permanent one. It pays $19.50/hr.

Ideal candidate must be bilingual in French and English, have Customer Service skills, Computer and Exceptional Communication Skills – Also needs to be comfortable learning new computer software.

 Customer service representative Responsibilities : 
- Providing “one stop contact” on both general customers inquires and claim related issues.
- Excellent customer service on specific product lines and/or a specialized function, by handling inbound calls and all related investigation.
- Respond to calls related to claim issues, problem solving inquiries, while maintaining established service standards.

Available to work shifts Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. AST and Saturdays - 10:00am -7:00pm   Sundays 12:00am -6:00 pm

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of service to external and internal customers for all mainstream products within a product area of Insurance 

• Respond to all customer service inquiries, answering a standard number of calls and related investigation work by following set procedures and utilizing administrative expertise

• Ensure positive and effective relationships are maintained with customers and sponsor partners

• Resolve customer complaints and concerns

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize under stressful and changing circumstances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to maintain a positive customer relationship in a very difficult situation
  • Ability to learn a variety of computer platforms and business processes required.
  • Good listener & Flexible/adaptable to change
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
