Adecco is currently hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to start immediately for our client located in the East end of Ottawa. This is a contract opportunity with possible extension depending on business needs and performance.

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will be working full-time hours, Monday to Friday. Their hours of operation are from 9am to 8pm and the shift you would work would be between the hours of 9am to 6pm. Flexibility is a must between those hours as the hours of your scheduled shifts could change based on business needs. The hourly rate of pay is $17. All suitable candidates must either possess an Active Reliability Clearance or be eligible for one.


Bilingual Customer Service Representative Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Upselling and cross selling Corporate Products and Services
  • Serving their customers in the most efficient and courteous manner on the telephone and in person
  • Handling incoming or outgoing customer calls and email communications and handling customer complaints and inquiries
  • Assisting customers with shipping details and account challenges
  • Working to resolve problem shipments, resolve equipment and technology challenges
  • Working with Head Office, local management, Drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and other corporate partners to ensure excellence in customer service
  • Building a positive relationship with Customers, Head Office, local management, Drivers, Warehousing staff, account managers and other Corporate Partners
  • Responsible for order management, account inquiries, customer queries or support issues
  • Data entry of orders, returns and/or inquiries in designated systems
  • Daily interaction with diverse customer base.
  • Updates systems daily with inquiry detail and status tracking and trending purposes
  • loading, scanning, logging and calling resolution freight
  • Cash reconciliation including deposits, key control
  • Drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and other Corporate partners orally and in writing
  • Complete necessary management reports as required

    Bilingual Customer Service Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bilingual (French and English verbal and written) is required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience in Customer Service
  • Strong data entry skills are required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows: Word/Excel/PowerPoint/ Access an asset
  • Excellent Attendance Record (Attendance Management Policy) and adheres to company policies
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent Organization, reporting skills and attention to detail
  • Team orientated and dependable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems and collect data
  • Demonstrated ability to establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Demonstrated ability to provide Customer / Vendor communication (oral and written) in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
  • Demonstrated ability to answer calls from various CPC customers, taking down the information on their order, inquiry and /or return in an accurate and detailed fashion for trouble shooting purposes.
