Adecco is currently hiring for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative in Toronto. To be considered for this Bilingual Customer Service Representative role, you must have 5 years of customer service experience. This is a 1-year contract role.

Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Answering client/broker inquiries & provide accurate information about Life Assurance products
  • Requesting information from internal departments to ensure the accurate and timely production of related information for policyholders/brokers
  • Performing required administrative tasks simple and complex for clients
  • Managing time-sensitive financial transactions which require an understanding of market timing and the impact of backdating
  • Responding to and resolving client issues and escalating, if required
  • Process client service requests according to established guidelines
  • Follow established procedures in all communications with clients – by phone, e-mail or written – to ensure that compliance requirements are met for all scenarios
  • Create and maintain computer records on all systems to ensure the accuracy of client information  

Bilingual Customer Service Representative Qualifications: 

• At least 5 years of customer service experience 
• Bilingual – English and French
• MS Office - mostly Outlook for email inquiries
• Strong communication oral and written - need to be able to communicate in a professional manner
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Friendly and approachable type personalities
• Life insurance experience/ knowledge is an asset *
• Call centre experience - client facing experience
• Working towards LOMA1 and 2 designation
