Adecco is currently looking for a Bilingual Data Entry Representative to work with our client located in the West end of Ottawa. The chosen candidate will have previous data entry experience and will be fluently bilingual. The starting pay is $15/hr Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. Our client is looking for a candidate that can start immediately. You will be required to work a rotating Saturday shift approx. 1-2 Saturdays a month. This role will also require you to sit at desk for long periods of time. Our client is a well-known reputable company in the woodworking industry that has been around for 40 years.


Job Overview: As a key team member, the Bilingual Data Entry Representative provides high quality support and service by entering new customer data into the customer database and maintaining existing customer records received from all retail locations. This position will also support Customer Service duties and perform administrative duties as required. This position will not be required to deal directly with customers.

Bilingual Data Entry Representative Job Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate and rapid processing of retail orders; involving entering customer data into existing customer database, opening new  accounts and maintaining same
- Processing show orders, catalogue requests and mail orders
- Administrative duties which may be required include, but are not limited to: processing of reports and spreadsheets reviewing holds on orders handling return mail catalogue distribution
- other duties as assigned

Bilingual Data Entry Representative Job Qualifications:
- High school or less than one year of specific training or college certificate, or 12 years of experience
- Able to work quickly in a busy environment
- Must have strong data entry skills, as well as good spelling, grammar and punctuation

- Computer literate: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of Adobe Reader
- Strong reading comprehension and good attention to details are essential
- Ability to learn data programs (CWD) in order to resolve issues by maintaining or cancelling orders
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work independently and within a group environment
- Understands the importance of confidentiality
- Bilingual -  French and English is required

Working Conditions: Office environment Hours will be from Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.), and every second or third Saturday (9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.) This role will require the incumbent to sit at desk for long periods of time.
