Adecco is currently recruiting for Bilingual Deskside Technician. This is a 1-year contract with a possibility of extension to 2 years. This role is with our government entity Client located in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance. This is on-site role.
The Bilingual Deskside Technician will have the following responsibilities
− Install, move, set up and provide ongoing support to all clients for desktop and laptop computers
− Install and configure software
− Provide technical problem-solving guidance and advice to users in person and remotely by phone
− Provide input into the creation and ongoing maintenance of a knowledge base on technical issues
− Provide input supporting standards, guidelines, and documentation
− Provide support as needed in the Asset Management process
− Deliver high-quality customer service to users within service levels
− Support project initiatives related to the company’s desktop environment
− Ongoing activities and deliverables, as required
The Bilingual Deskside Technician must meet the following mandatory requirements
− A minimum of three years of recent work experience in an information technology service desk as a deskside technician, in an operational environment supporting Windows 10
− A minimum of three years of demonstrated customer service experience
− Demonstrated experience with SCCM and Active Directory
− Demonstrated experience with a desktop hardware evergreen in a similar capacity
− Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and ensure accuracy in a high-paced environment
− Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
− Demonstrated experience interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization
