Adecco is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Disability Claims Administrator in Halifax, NS for our top insurance company client. This is a 1 yr contract and pays $20.50/hr. 
Start Date: 10/17/2019    
End Date: 10/16/2020
The ideal candidate for this Bilingual Disability Claims Administrator role must be Bilingual in English and French, ability to multi task, think outside the box and prioritize, deadline driven and must have excellent communication skills. Overtime may be required at times.

Bilingual Disability Claims Administrator Job Description
Our client is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join the Disability team as a Disability Claims Administrator. The position is bilingual required. The position encompasses a variety of tasks as outlined but not limited to the Job Duties below. This position will report directly to the Associate Manager - Disability.

The role will involve conducting outbound phone calls to our customer base to get an update on their current situation. This role also involves receiving inbound calls, responding to email inquiries, handling correspondence. This heavily telephonic role would involve collaborating and liaising with coworkers and senior staff as need arises on files based on the outcomes of the phone call. The role will also include offering telephone and administrative support for the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Analyst role.

Bilingual Disability Claims Administrator Requirements: 
• Bilingual (French/English) required
• Post-Secondary education or related business experience
• Ability to learn and apply information quickly.
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail is necessary to succeed in this position
• Demonstrated decision making skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
• Familiarity with MS Office : Word & Excel (excel for tracking)
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Familiarity with Medical and/or Military Terminology would be an asset
