Bilingual HR Business Partner (Bilingual HRBP)

Adecco Professional is currently partnering with a dynamic, established global manufacturing and distribution client who is looking to hire for a Bilingual HR Business Partner job opening in Montreal, QC. This full-time, permanent career opportunity is best suited for a driven, hands-on HR professional with at least 5+ years direct HR related experience to bring to the table. This individual will be working closely with a smaller HR team and helping drive initiatives, policies and processes for an expanding market into Quebec (truly a SME for Quebec). The Bilingual HR Business Partner is responsible for various HR related day to day functions while allowing the individual to bring in new strategic ideas. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, with a keen eye for improvement in a team-oriented, collaborative and employee centric company. Please note that this position is commencing in a remote capacity but will transition into a hybrid work model with the location downtown Montreal, QC.

Some of the responsibilities of the Bilingual HR Business Partner job opening in Montreal, QC may include but are not limited to:

· Employee relations from all HR related angles; assist and provide coaching and support to leaders/managers in relation

· Assist employees with HR related questions such as benefits, employee relations, internal applications, employee service and more

· Take lead on various HR initiatives and projects within the organization bringing new and fresh ideas to the table; includes employee engagement and retention efforts, collaboration, compensation/bonus reviews and more

· Support and drive performance management programs; review/recommend/implement learning and development initiatives

· Strategic planning and sharing/presenting to VP, HR and leadership team ideas, concerns, updated legislation etc.

· Taking lead on recruitment requirements; ensuring interaction and communication with the hiring manager at all times; this includes consulting on market rates, trends and candidate experience

· Work with the benefit plan and compensation structure to ensure we are keeping competitive and any related responsibility

· Ensure all Provincial and Federal employment legislation and compliance is adhered to and communicated

· Additional duties as necessary

Some of the key requirements to be considered for the Bilingual HR Business Partner job opening in Montreal, QC may include but are not limited to:

· At least 5+ years’ HR Professional level experience; at least 2 years from a HR Business Partner capacity

· Completed post-secondary education completed combined with a CHRP designation

· Strong knowledge of Canadian labour laws, ESA, Health and Safety alongside Provincial legislation for Quebec, Ontario and BC.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French required

· Driven, hard-working, flexible – you have a very hands-on approach to get the job done

· Someone who takes initiative and is passionate about the role the department plays in a successful professional firm in Canada

· Strong technical skills: MS Office (Visio included), HRIS experience preferred

· Flexibility for some occasional travel to Ontario and BC.
