Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time (EN/FR) Bilingual IT Support (Tier 1) to work remotely for our client, a leading company that provides IT management support services located in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients related to computer systems, hardware or software in a timely and professional manner. If you are fluent in English & French and have at least 1 year of experience in a technical support/troubleshooting role, this job is for you!!

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance and support to clients related to computer systems, hardware, or software
  • Responding to client inquiries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions
  • Installing, modifying and repairing computer hardware & software
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve computer problems
  • Resolve technical problems with WAN & LAN issues
  • Follow-up with clients to assure issue resolution
  • Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary training in Network Administration or Computer Systems Administration
  • At least 1 year experience in a technical support/troubleshooting capacity
  • Must be proficient in Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 & 10, MS Office Suite (2003 & Newer) and Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012
  • Must be fully fluent in English and French – both written and verbally
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer communication and multi-tasking skills
