Adecco is currently seeking a Bilingual Product Planning Specialist in Toronto, ON. The Bilingual Product Planning Specialist must be fluent in both English and French and function as a marketing expert with robust knowledge of the luxury automotive landscape. This role supports both the Manager of Product Planning and Product Manager with data entry of product and pricing information and validation of customer facing collateral. This is a long-term temporary role with competitive compensation and a bonus program offered.

Bilingual Product Planning Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the maintenance of the product database with data input and review (in both English and French) for all product lines.
  • Publish all relevant product information for internal and dealer usage relating to new car and new option content including product news, bulletins for internal and dealer network, technical data, standard and optional equipment.
  • Proof-read and correct all French and English customer facing collateral for product information accuracy.
  • Identify & derive Canadian market-specific requirements regarding product features, standard and optional equipment under consideration of market trends, internal and external market research and legislative framework.
  • Analyze statistical data on past sales, option take rates, internal and external market research and forecast trends to answer market planning requests regarding standard and optional equipment offers.
  • Support the marketing team by providing relevant product expertise and knowledge.
  • Support the analysis, tracking and forecasting of the Marketing Budget on a monthly basis in coordination with counterparts.
  • Provide support during year end close and work with Finance to track accruals and budgets on a weekly basis.
  • Bilingual Product Planning Specialist Qualifications:

  • Must be fluently bilingual in English and French (both written and oral).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing agency, retail or automotive industry/environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury automotive industry, product and competitive landscape.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with contributors at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be available to travel (5-10%)
