Our client in Mississauga, ON is looking for a Bilingual Planner (English/French) to join their team.  Ideal candidate will have supply chain experience or a supply chain education and be familiar with JD Edwards.

Bilingual Planner Responsibilities:

  • Manage the demand and supply planning within your portfolio
    • Forecast review based on reporting
    • Forecast review based on communication
    • Forecast review based on promotional activity
  • Ensure all planning models , forecasts, ordering parameters are managed to generate consistently accurate order proposals
  • Manage all  dynamic information to ensure all quantities proposed assure supply while being mindful of over stock
  • Ensure checks and controls on data integrity and performance are maintained and where needed addressed and fixed.
  • Effectively plan for assigned area, key events and seasonality profiles, product launches, New restaurant locations, core trade off, peak and summer periods.
  • Continuous improvement across all defined KPI’s 
  • Ensure effective resolution of restaurant queries within the agreed SLA
  • Identify root  cause of proposal inaccuracies & develop solutions to proactively resolve
  • Continuous Education for restaurant within assigned area, on system functionality and communication, engagement opportunities for ongoing improvement 

Bilingual Planner Qualifications

  • University Degree

  • Fully bilingual in the French language

  • Minimum 2 years Experience with a replenishment / forecasting process

  • Advanced Microsoft Office

  • Proficient knowledge of demand and supply planning with practical system knowledge within JDE; JDA/ Manugistics; SAP; Oracle or similar is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong team player

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workloads in a high pressured environment

  • Ability to develop good cross functional, and collaborative working relationships
