On behalf of our top Banking client, Adecco is currently hiring for a Bilingual Technical Support Agent for our client located in Toronto, ON. Are you a critical thinker with good problems solving skills? Are you good at analyzing information? Then this would be the job for you!

Our client is a large, reliable, and reputable organization within the financial services industry. Bilingual Technical Support Agent will be a 15-months full time contract position with a possibility of extension and conversion to perm as needed. With a pay rate of $25.00/hour, this will be a hybrid role (2 weeks onsite, 2 weeks remote-subject to change) The working schedule will be rotational from Monday to Sunday- 08:30 am to 10:00 pm. (5 days a week 8-hour shifts).

Bilingual Technical Support Agent Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily technical support and solutions within a timely manner including On-site Deployment, Installation and Support Maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) payment equipment
  • Scheduling and implementation of major merchant and product rollouts
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure a consistent and frictionless installation and provide Second Level Technical support for onsite Technicians
  • Perform Base 24 and TEM\TMS updates and conduct product testing, documenting bug\device performance and updating service tickets/logs as needed
  • Proactively work to identify and correct customer issues, resolve customer complaints and concerns, and coordinate with other staff and departments as required
  • Bilingual Technical Support Agent Requirements:

  • Technical Background through college or university preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service/call center environment desired
  • Computer networking/hardware knowledge/POS technical knowledge highly preferred
  • Previous experience in Base 24 program, Remedy (knowledge) would be considered an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal) mandatory
  • Computer savvy and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel (basics), Outlook, and Word)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with peers and other teams
