Adecco is currently hiring for a Bindery Operator in Mississauga. To qualify for this Bindery Operator role, you should be able to operate Machines. Our client is looking for a candidate with a positive attitude who is open to learning new concepts and tasks. Pay upto $18.

Bindery Operator Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operate Folding Machine
  • Operate a standalone folding machine to prepare material for letter shop insertion.
  • Review and follow dockets written instructions.
  • Properly adjust plates for the requested fold style including fold, slit and nest
  • Maintain finished material in order
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Match sample to follow for accuracy
  • Log all damages for reprints and fill in all the required forms for quality and quantity
  • Maintain and clean the equipment

Bindery Operator Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical or technical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to policies/procedures
  • Ability to work with frequently changing priorities on a daily basis and overtime as required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to cross train on other letter shop equipment
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • General math skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis, maximum 50 lbs
