Our client in Scarborough, ON is looking to hire Blending Machine Operators. To be considered for this role you must have previous blending or mixing experience within a food processing facility.  This role starts as a 6 month contract with the strong possibility of becoming permanent.  Hourly rate is $17/hr

Blending Machine Operators Job Responsibilities:
-Get resources to ensure blending machines, weigh scales, sugar silo, dust collecting system, air compressor and other related equipment runs properly i.e. maintenance, warehouse, quality assurance, R and D, production operators and supervisory support
-Ensure raw materials or ingredients are readily available when required prior to blending or staging
-Run blending machine at standard or required speeds
-Clean blending machines, hand scoops, black pallets, working tables, empty totes, vacuum machines, scrapers, walls, dust colleting system, floors and all other related equipment to ensure a clean, efficient and safe operation
- Inspect all raw materials, ingredients, totes, liners for blending use to ensure it meets quality parameters

 
Blending Machine Operators Job Qualification:
-Previous Blending or Mixing experience in a food processing facility
-ability to lift up to 50lbs
-ability to work in a warm food processing facility
-Pass criminal background check
-Computer skills
