Bookkeeper job opening in Downtown Toronto

Adecco Professional is looking for a Bookkeeper to assist our client in Downtown Toronto. This would be a contract position to support our client in the non-profit industry. To qualify for this role, you must have 2+ years of experience with full cycle accounts payable, general bookkeeping knowledge and proficient technical skills. The responsibilities for the Bookkeeper opening in Downtown Toronto may include, but are not limited to:

•             Full cycle accounts payable and general bookkeeping duties

•             Process payments in an accurate manner, create journal entries, and record payments 

•             Review and enter all outgoing payments

•             Account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies

•             Assist with month and year end reports


Qualifications for the Bookkeeper job opening in Downtown Toronto includes:

•             2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Bookkeeper capacity

•             Proficient knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles

•             Strong technical skills with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks mandatory

•             Excellent written and spoken communications skills

•             Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•             Flexible, positive work attitude
