This opportunity will allow you to work alongside a bright, driven business owner (owner of multiple businesses) and put your dynamic bookkeeping alongside some administrative skills to use. The ideal candidate for this full-time, permanent position would possess exceptional organizational skills, have tenure with past companies and at least 5+ years of experience working in a bookkeeper / accountant role combined with some hands-on administrative functions. The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper job opening in Toronto, ON may include, but are not limited to:


- Support a busy business owner with various bookkeeping and administrative tasks; supporting various businesses under his portfolio (import/export, real estate, investment, joint ventures etc)

- Verification of invoices, ensure proper backup documentation and processed in a timely manner

- Reconcile and post credit card transactions; process and reconcile expense reports

- Enter and reconcile statements and schedules, post all transactions

- Maintain office petty cash.

- Research and analyze costs associated with office equipment, supplies, services etc.

- Typing up documents and reports; data processing included

- Filing paperwork and items to ensure an organized area; mail related duties

- Various related tasks as assigned; flexibility is key!


The qualifications for the Bookkeeper job opening in Toronto, ON include:


- 5 + years of experience in a Bookkeeper or Accountant capacity preferably with administrative functions as part of your role

- Longevity in your career history, tenure required

- Proficient all in MS Office system especially advanced Excel and also QuickBooks and/or Sage 300 (AccPac)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organization skills and the ability to take initiative and problem solve as second nature
