Adecco Professional is looking for a Bookkeeper to assist our client in Downtown Toronto. This would be a 1-year contract to support our client in the retail industry. To qualify for this role, you must have 2-3+ years of experience with full cycle accounting including all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting functions. The responsibilities for the Bookkeeper opening in Downtown Torontomay include, but are not limited to:

Full cycle accounting and general bookkeeping duties
Process payments in an accurate manner, create journal entries, and record payments
Review and enter all outgoing payments
Account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
Assist with month and year end reports
Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
Prepare balance sheet and income statement


Qualifications for the Bookkeeper job opening in Downtown Toronto includes:

2-3 years of experience in an Accountant or Bookkeeper capacity
Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Proficient knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
Strong technical skills with MS Office Suites and QuickBooks mandatory
Excellent written and spoken communications skills
Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible, positive work attitude
