Adecco is currently hiring for a 12 month temporary, part-time bookkeeper for our client, a reputable and multinational insurance company with a location in Winnipeg, MB. If you have a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience, and an insurance background, this job is for you!

  • Pay rate: up to $50/hour depending on experience
  • Location: Winnipeg, MB (hybrid)
  • Shifts: Flexible (4 days a week)
  • Job type: Part-time | Flexible
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Record receipts for all e-transfers, cheque payments and all Direct Bill commissions received
  • Reconcile Agency Bill and Direct Bill statements and NSF follow up
  • Processing cheque payments to insurance companies (Agency Bill and Direct Bill) and miscellaneous vendor payables (until transitioned to Head Office)
  • Produce RST reports and send to Head Office for Processing and process client refund checks
  • Ensure all transactions from the bank accounts have been posted and complete bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
  • Run month end reports requested from the client reporting team and email by the 3rd of each month
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
