Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Engineer to join their team to manage industrial facility construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of construction management principles and practices, as well as experience working in the industrial construction sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure timely and effective completion of construction projects within budget and to the highest standard of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and execute project plans and schedules, including identifying project objectives, scope, and resources required.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess site readiness, identify potential risks and hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction workers to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimates, tracking, and reporting, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Familiarity with construction software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
