Adecco is currently hiring a permanent full-time Business Central Specialist to work in Markham, ON. This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to split your work time between home and the office.
In this role will you provide end-user support, manage user tickets, communicate with stakeholders, and gather feedback to ensure the smooth functioning of the ERP system. This role requires you to have experience with AL coding, EDI, and a deep understanding of finance, purchase orders, sales orders, and warehousing processes within Business Central. Responsibilities:
Provide daily ERP support addressing end-user issues and ensuring smooth system operations.
Manage and prioritize user tickets, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Communicate with end-users, gather feedback to improve system functionality and user experience.
Assist in the development and maintenance of AL code within Business Central when necessary.
Leverage EDI experience to support electronic data interchange processes and integrations.
Maintain expert knowledge of Business Central including finance, purchase order, sales order, and warehousing processes.
Train and support other team members acting as a resource for Business Central best practices.
Collaborate with IT/other departments to develop and implement system improvements/ enhancements.
Maintain documentation of system processes, change requests, configurations, and customizations.
Stay current with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Strong understanding of finance, sales, procurement, and warehousing within Business Central.
Experience with AL coding and EDI processes is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills and required flexibility
Team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
Familiarity with other Microsoft products such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Azure, is a plus.
