Adecco is currently hiring for a Business Development Executive (Inside) in midtown Toronto. To be considered for this Business Development Executive position the successful candidate needs to have between 4 and 7 years of business development ales experience.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting businesses in the K-12 educational industry across North America. Our client is a leader in online learning solutions, helping students learn their strengths, and put their best foot forward.

Our client is offering a base salary of $50,000 - $60,000, with a generous commission structure.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities:

Drive new business in the K-12 education market.
Identify business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
Sell services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
Highlight potential service improvements/new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Participate positively and actively in weekly, monthly and annual sales meetings and company functions as appropriate.
May be expected to attend external events to promote our client’s services. These may take place outside normal working hours.
Gain knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Business Development Executive Mandatory Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of customer service-based solutions selling within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
At least 4 years’ experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close – preferably in the education and/or SaaS markets.
High energy, hunter personality, with experience developing business through cold calling, email and other forms of networking / engaging with C-Level prospects and clients.
Weekly reporting to senior management.
Manage existing accounts with monthly touch-points, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal.
Superior organization, prioritization, independent work and time management skills.
Highly proficient computer skills including working with CRM Systems.
