Adecco is currently hiring a permanent Business Development Manager – Funeral Services for the Maritimes. Our client, one of the industry’s largest and most well-known companies in Atlantic Canada, is looking for an energetic licensed funeral service professional looking to transition to another segment of the industry to provide outstanding value to their clients. To qualify for this Business Development Manager role, you must be an energetic funeral service professional looking to transition to another segment of the industry and enjoy being part of a team that values sales performance and results, and that is quick to reward high-achieving team members.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
• Establish a business growth plan for assigned territory
• Networking within the Funeral Home Industry to acquire new accounts
• Making sales presentations to Potential Agents to win accounts
• Represent the brand and work closely with funeral home owners and other staff members
• Enhancing customer relations by becoming one of the most helpful sales reps in the business, helping to deliver solutions that create opportunity for our customers
• Participate on the Senior Management Team having direct impact and influence on company decisions and direction


Business Development Manager Qualifications:
• Experience as a licensed funeral service professional REQUIRED
• Existing network of contacts within the Funeral Industry in the Maritimes
• A self-motivated professional who is comfortable with sales and conducting group presentations
• Sales experience is considered an asset but not mandatory
• Previous experience with customer relationship management is a plus
• High level of integrity, dedication, and desire to succeed
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• Creative, outgoing, and energetic
• A good driving record and valid driver’s license with the ability to travel regularly within Maritime provinces
• Solid work history
• Bilingualism considered an asset
