Adecco is currently recruiting to a full time permanent Business Development Manager - Industrial Distribution job in Calgary, AB. Our client is a national industrial distributor of various products inlcudng bearings, seals, fastners, compressors and transmissions. In your assigned territory, the Business Development Manager - Industrial Distribution will be responsible for maintaining a book of business while actively seeking new partnership opportunities. Our client is offering a competitive base salary, commission, car allowance, gas card, beneifts,and and RSP program.

Business Development Manager - Industrial Distribution Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of sales, business development and account management in your assigned territory.
You will work closely with the vibrant inside sales team to provide support and build strong, long term relationships with existing customers as well as assist in the development of new customers.
Your goal will be to grow new business and expand market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, home owners and customers by converting them away from competitor products.


Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in an outside sales/business development role
Related post secondary education
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn an industrial product line
Self directed, career minded and hard working
Strong presentation skills
Intermediate level computer skills
Ability to travel 10% of the time
