Adecco is currently hiring for a Business Development Manager in Toronto, ON. In order to be considered for this Business Development Manager position the successful candidate needs to have 5+ years experience in a Business Development capacity.

Our client is a full-service provider of high-end simulation software, including the sales, technical support and training. Our client has multiple offices across North America and pride themselves on a good work life balance, continual education and training to their employees. This includes the Business Development Manager having access to a team of experts to help qualify and sell the services on offer to the end user.

The client is offering a generous package of between $70,000 to $90,000 dependent on experience + a competitive commission structure, continuing education, full benefits and tremendous room for growth within the organization.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Manage all software sales and field marketing duties for your territory to create new business and upsell to existing clients.
Work in concert with the inside sales team to better align company goals and tactics, including prospecting and lead generation.
Deep dive with existing clients to propose additional and/or alternative services.
Coordinate with technical staff to align the correct services with the end user’s needs.
Maintain and update sales records and prepare sales reports as required in Salesforce.com.
Develop, plan and execute customer-facing events such as user groups, hands on workshops and industry seminars.


Business Development Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher is an asset.
5+ years in software sales/business development.
An understanding of engineering processes and related technology (CAD, 3D printing, HPC, etc.) is desired.
Local and regional travel expected, with regular phone activity.
Must have a valid Canadian passport, and be willing to travel to and from the US.
Must be fluent in English. Also being fluent in French is preferred but not essential.
Proficient in MS Office, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Must able to work well in a group and independently.
