Adecco is currently hiring a Business Development Consultant to join our Calgary, AB Branch!

The successful candidate will work with some of our largest national accounts and manage recruitment and other administrative responsibilities in a highly KPI-driven environment.

This person is someone with positive energy and a keen eye for detail, who can provide outstanding customer service, and thrive in a fast paced, fun, team-oriented environment!


Business Development Representative Responsibilities:


Identifies and develops new account prospects for Adecco’s professional division utilizing skill marketing, direct mail and other high volume sales techniques.
Supports the bids and proposal development process in tandem with the Branch Manager.
Assists in the development and maintenance of the Adecco brand and awareness through advertising, networking and public relations activities.
Maintains records of all client sales activities, leads and follow-up requirements by effectively utilizing Adecco office technology.
Generates sales leads, and conducts marketing calls to prospective and current clients, in an effort to identify new business opportunities through skill marketing of associates with high demand qualifications.
Negotiates pay rates with clients with a focus on maintaining high ROS and GM%.
Provides follow up to clients ensuring satisfaction of filled orders, and visits client site to maintain good relations and resolve any issues.
Support the Branch Manager and/or Area Manager to ensure that financial goals and objectives are met or exceeded while maintaining full compliance on all Adecco policies and procedures.


Business Development Representative Requirements:


Completion of post-secondary education in a related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
1-2 years of B2B sales experience.
A minimum of two years related experience, ideally in a sales and service -oriented environment.
Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications.
