As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for cold prospecting businesses in key industries across North America. Our client is offering a base salary with a generous commission structure and is best suited for a motivated and passionate personality!

  • Drive new business development through cold calling outreach
  • Identify business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sell services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Highlight potential service improvements/new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Participate positively and actively in weekly, monthly and annual sales meetings and company functions as appropriate.
  • May be expected to attend external events to promote our client’s services.  These may take place outside normal working hours.
  • Gain knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Some of the qualifications for the Business Development Representative job opening in Toronto, ON include;

  • Strong knowledge of customer service-based solutions selling within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close in SaaS markets.
  • High energy, hunter personality, with experience developing business through cold calling, email and other forms of networking / engaging with C-Level prospects and clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
  • Superior organization, prioritization, independent work and time management skills.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including working with CRM Systems.
