Our client, a manufacturer of copper and piping in Etobicoke (Intersection - Kipling & Rexdale). This position will train on day shift (7:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday to Friday) for approximately 2 weeks and then move to a night shift and it would pay $19.13 an hour. 

POSITION TITLE: Cabling Machine Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to set-up and manufacture product to given specifications a per F.P.O. instruction, to the
  • appropriate length(s).
  • Able to identify quality problems with components or cabling/twisting products and take
  • appropriate measures whether notifying the Production Supervisor or making remedial
  • adjustments to the equipment.
  • Able to complete all paperwork reporting of materials and labour as required.
  • Know and understand Health and Safety regulations, and observe/practice handling of
  • production materials in a safe manner as per W.H.M.I.S. requirements.
  • Observe/practice general company rules /procedures as per "Employee Handbook".
  • Keep area tidy and organized.
  • Perform any quality checks as required.

Machine centers involved include:
  • DTC #1 & DTC #2
  • Cabler # 3, #4, #5, #6
  • Taping &Wire Serve line
Education: High School

Experience Required:
  • 1 year of relevant experience
