Adecco is currently recruiting for a Cafeteria Assistant Manager. This is a full-time permanent position for a leading food services and support company with operations in Mississauga, ON. Our client is looking for a Cafeteria Assistant Manager with prior experience in the food industry, customer-oriented attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The successful candidate must be available to work weekdays including evening shifts, as well as, weekends. The pay rate for this Cafeteria Assistant Manager position is $17- $19 per hour with shifts from 11 am- 6:30 pm. 

The Cafeteria Assistant Manager will be supporting the Manager in the efficient operation by: 

  • Achieving business plans including sales & labour budgets, inventory control, and staffing
  • Demonstrating outstanding customer service skills to motivate team members and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Supporting all day-to-day operational issues including but not limited to quality assurance and health and safety concerns
  • Enforcing company policies and ensuring compliance 
  • Other duties as assigned
Cafeteria Assistant Manager Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in sales/customer service at a supervisory level or above
  • Basic understanding of financial processes and scheduling
  • Leadership qualities and solid communications skills
  • The ability to effectively manage a demanding schedule including evenings and weekends
  • The ability to foster collaboration and teamwork
