Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Carrier Coordinator – Truck Logistics in Calgary, AB, to work a long-term contract at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. In this diverse role, you will be responsible to ensure safe and reliable trucking needs for the company’s carrier operations, and to support the Trucking Operations group by ensuring great communication to internal stakeholders.

  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary | Long-term contract with potential for annual extension

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily/weekly carrier performance
  • Communicate with external carriers regarding performance, safety and reliability
  • Response to internal and external customers queries and requirements
  • Review weekly and monthly KPIs for carriers
  • Investigate root causes of supply issues and disruptions
  • Provide Emergency Management support to internal and external teams when required
  • Provide feedback for continuous process improvement

    • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field is required
  • Must have previous logistics experience, with knowledge or previous experience preferably in the trucking industry
  • Bilingual (French / English) is an asset
  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Power BI
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for success in this role
  • Able to balance multiple shifting priorities
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
