Adecco is hiring Chef for a team to work on Cirque du Soleil`s Luzia production in Calgary, AB on a full-time contract from August 2019 until September 2019. To be considered for the Chef position you need to be flexible to work afternoons, evenings and weekends and have some experience as a Chef or 1 year as line-cook. As a Chef, you will be responsible preparing and serving meals that change daily. The pay rate for this position is $25/hr.

General Responsibilities for Chef
Assist Cirque chefs in preparing and serving meals in a safe, presentable, and professional manner
Managing inventory of stock and ordering raw materials
Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
Ensuring food quality and the taste is of the highest standard
General maintenance and cleanliness of the area
Qualifications for this role:
Preferred more than 1 year of experience as a full- time Chef/line-cook in a busy professional kitchen 
Must be able to demonstrate good knife skills for precision cuts
Must be able to make several kinds of salad dressing from scratch 
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be flexible to work afternoons, evenings and weekends
