Our Client is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of our industrial facility. The successful candidate will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard. The Civil Engineer will work closely with other members of the engineering team, including Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, to deliver comprehensive and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute engineering designs, plans, and specifications for industrial facility construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.

  2. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, construction personnel, and contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.

  3. Provide technical support to other departments and personnel regarding construction materials, design specifications, and engineering standards.

  4. Analyze and interpret survey reports, maps, and other data to design project layouts and provide cost estimates.

  5. Conduct field inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.

  6. Manage and maintain project documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, and quality assurance documentation.

  7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, and safety requirements.

  8. Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure project success and reduce risks.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  2. At least 2 years of experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of industrial facilities.

  3. Knowledge of construction materials, design specifications, and engineering standards.

  4. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  7. Ability to work in a team environment.

  8. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.

  9. Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
