Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Clinical Project Manager to work for our Medical Device Manufacturing client in Ottawa West, ON. This is 1-year contract opportunity offering full time hours, Monday – Friday. The salary for this position will be determined based on education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for designated project assignments.
  • Defines project scope and objectives; takes project from original concept through to final
  • Provides technical and analytical analysis/guidance to support project objectives and commitments: interface with all areas involved/impacted by the project.
  • Facilitates compliance to relevant processes and policies and/or regulations (Design controls, Alpha, PMO Framework, DHF).
  • Establish and maintain effective communications to ensure all stakeholders are provided with timely status updates and accurate project information.
  • Actively elevates to Management for resolution any developing issues that compromise published timelines and deliverables.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as may be assigned.
  • Qualifications:

  • Requires 3+ years of relevant experience in project planning / management and design controls in a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of project management standards and tools and financial documents (management of multi-year projects)
  • Degree, Diploma, or certificate required (Engineering, science or closely related discipline preferred)
  • PMP certification, additional post-graduate education and experience in an FDA regulated environment is an asset
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; demonstrated good judgment
  • Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of and adherence to a schedule
  • Capable of working on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships
  • Able to work independently and in a group setting
