    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write programs for the CMM (Mitutoyo)
  • Will be required to evaluate products for acceptance to specific criteria, initiate rejection process where required, complete diverse paperwork and system records for traceability and movement of products
  • Able to work under minimum supervision in a team environment is essential as well as apply 5S workplace organization and Just in Time principals for Continuous Improvement
  • Must also possess good organizational and decision-making skills to ensure completion of paperwork and computerized tasks.

    • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • 3+ years of experience in CMM programming with complex parts
  • Addisional past Quality Assurance experience in an automotive manufacturing an asset
  • A Degree or diploma in a relavent engineering discipline to compliment CMM experience i
  • Experience in IATF-16949 
  • Completed CMM operation and programming training
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • High competency and understanding of GD&T
  • Experienced in Quality Measurement System Analysis and toolsi.e., gauge R&R)
  • Able to operate CMM in both manual and program mode
