Adecco is currently hiring for a Permanent Collections Specialist for our client located in Mississauga, ON. To qualify for this Collections Specialist role, you must have Post Secondary Education from an accredited college or University with an Accounting diploma, a minimum of 2 years of Commercial B2B collections and strong knowledge of  accounting principles. Our client is a well-known manufacturing company that offers a positive work environment and extensive training program. The rate of pay for this Collections Specialist position is up to $35.00 per hour.

Collection Specialist  Responsibilities:
• Conducting the first collection calls towards customers in a structured way 
• Requesting promises to pay from customers as part of the collection calls and recording the given promises into SAP
• Recording invoice disputes into SAP as they arise as part of the collection calls.
• Initiating the dispute management workflow by dispatching the recorded disputes to the other business responsible in the organization for resolution (resolution at root cause)
Collections Specialist Qualifications:

• Post Secondary education from accredited college or university with an emphasis in Accounting. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree
• At least two years of commercial B2B collections
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral
• Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Ability to work well in a computerized environment – use of SAP and Excel
