Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Commercial Settlement Analyst, to work a 1-year contract, at a well-established oil and gas company, in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of CRP Accounts Receivable Accounts, including cash and credit applications as well as account collections.
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM-5 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean-up of Canadian Refined Products Accounts Receivable
Ensure CRP customer accounts are kept current
Act as the primary point of contact for CRP Customers
Ensure that cash receipts and credits are applied to invoices on a timely basis
Investigate and resolve issues identified with customer accounts
Input journal entries as required
Work closely with the Retail Business Unit, IS and other business units to improve and streamline the invoicing and collection process
Prepare and maintain accounting flows and documentation from start to completion for the CRP Accounts Receivable process
Perform ad-hoc duties such as project participation, training and backup support for other coworkers
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must Have Adult Learning certifications Business Degree is required
Intermediate accounting or technical background is a must
Cash Management / Accounts Receivable experience is needed
Oil and gas experience is an asset
SMS & SAP experience is also a must
Should have advanced Excel and other computer skills with the ability to work within multiple systems
Able to learn new systems & processes quickly in order to apply consistent application
Willing to take personal initiative
Capable of working both independently and in a team environment, dealing with a variety of stakeholders
Able to effectively manage multiple priorities
Deadline-driven and process-oriented while taking personal accountability for results
Exceptional attention to detail is appreciated
Strong communication and analytical skills in identifying the root cause of an issue
Must be legally eligible to reside and work in Canada
