Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) Process Specialist, to work a long-term contract at a well-established oil and gas company, in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will be responsible to carry out the day-to-day commissioning execution activities on all assigned projects in a safe and efficient manner.

Shifts: 8 Days on, 6 Days off

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the CSU Execution Plan, schedule, and resourcing requirements for process-related activities
Support safe isolation of project scope, daily permitting for commissioning contractors, and delivery of Operations deliverables
Oversee 3rd party commissioning activities and prioritize commissioning contractor and vendor scope to maintain milestones
Provide troubleshooting and parts sourcing support for vendors and contractors
Ensure turnover walkdown support and execution alignment with construction team
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum five years of Operations Experience in oil & gas industry is required
3rd Class Power Engineering Certification is a must, 2nd Class Power Engineering Certification and Project Management Certificate are assets
Familiarity with government regulations and corporate policies and procedures
Knowledge of commissioning and start-up activities, construction/turnaround experience
Strong technical skills (MS Word, Excel, Adobe, MS Projects, SAP) and ability to read Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow diagrams (PFDs), logic narratives, Shut Down (S/D) keys
Strong troubleshooting skills, teamwork, organizational skills, decision-making, and leadership skills
Ability to manage time, resources, and costs effectively and to work under pressure and coordinate simultaneous activities
Should have a positive attitude with the ability to build positive working relationships and maintain a holistic, solution-based vision
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
