Consolidation & Reporting Analyst

As a result of our client’s rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced Consolidation & Reporting Analyst to join the team to assist the Financial Controllers, within our various Business Units. Primary responsibility is to support the timely and accurate consolidation of international subsidiaries into their internal reporting. The role will involve understanding our client’s global structure, liaising with subsidiary accounting teams, as well as translating results to align with our client’s consolidated presentation. In this role, you also support special projects, including the integration of newly acquired projects and subsidiaries. You work to continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and minimize risk.


  • Problem-solve and collaborate with international subsidiaries to determine the best way to achieve consistent application of Our client’s accounting policies in unique situations, taking into account local requirements and global policies.
  • Take an active role in new and challenging accounting projects, including the analysis of technical accounting issues and standardization of reporting across new geographies and business lines.
  • Experiment with our client’s ERP system functionalities to reliably increase the degree of automation in the consolidation process.
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and contribute to the culture of continuous improvement by suggesting better ways of doing things to improve controls and drive efficiencies.
  • Liaise with the accounting teams of international subsidiaries and external service providers to ensure timely receipt of monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting.
  • Review reporting from international subsidiaries to ensure consistency with our client’s accounting policies, identify gaps and propose solutions that take into account local requirements and consolidation requirements.
  • Support the accounting teams of subsidiaries and external service providers by preparing schedules, reconciliations, reporting packages, and variance analysis as well as responding to auditor inquiries.  
  • Participate and lead special projects as the need arises.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • You have 2-5 years of experience working in a technical accounting role, with direct experience with preparing or reviewing internal reports.
  • You have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • You have knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
  • You have and can demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
  • You go above and beyond to deliver the highest quality work and strive to understand the “why” behind your assigned projects and tasks.
  • You are an action-oriented problem solver who can assess alternatives and implement solutions.
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and take initiative to implement continuous improvements.
  • You are technically savvy and can learn new IT systems and functionalities quickly.
  • You are highly motivated, bring an enthusiastic and positive attitude, and take challenges in stride.
  • You can articulate your ideas clearly in writing and conversation.
  • You are organized, great at managing your time and prioritizing responsibilities.
  • You enjoy collaborating in teams and get along well with others.
  • You have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent or are working towards this designation.
  • Must be able to travel internationally.
  • Compensation:

  • 60K-65K base salary
  • 3 weeks paid vacation
