Adecco is currently recruiting for a Construction Project Coordinator for a full-time and permanent role to work with our client located in Gatineau, QC. 
The Construction Project Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure communications are aligned between Consultants, Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Sub-Contractors and Construction Team;
  • Manage and track all SI’s, RFI’s, CCN, CO’s and Progress Draws;
  • Update Project Budgets monthly, track and moderate all Change Orders;
  • Participate, monitor, provide minute meeting reports and update the Consultants and Construction Team;
  • Attend weekly and or by-weekly site meetings;
  • Issue and manage contract documents to sub-contractors;
  • Issue and release drawings to trades for pricing;
  • Become involved with the Estimating Process Team;
  • Attend Design Development Architectural meetings and document discussions and distribute meeting minutes;
  • Ensure all site staff act and adhere to the Client Policies and Procedures; 
  • Prepare all documentation between Consultants, the Client Construction Team and Sub-Contractors;
  • Be a Dynamic Organizer and prepare the Construction Team Members ahead all weekly and monthly meetings;
  • Monitor and document all supporting information and file electronically;
  • Assist with the Finance team and prepare monthly progress draws;
  • Attend weekly site meeting as required and document the contents of the meetings;
  • Distribute validated information to Key Team Members;
  • Monitor site progress and become involved with Quality Control;  
  • Update the Construction Budgets and maintain CTC and ECTC;
  • Conduct post-mortem meetings and ensure same mistakes are not made second time around;
The Construction Project Coordinator must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • CET would be an asset and or background in the development and construction industry;
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills;
  • Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in residential and or commercial construction;
  • Have knowledge of low-rise and high-rise construction, and or have a single-family home building background;
  • A solid Performa with data and numbers, knowledge of Microsoft Project, 365, EXCEL and Windows;
  • Budgets and cashflow are King, Be Dynamic at balancing and maintain budgets;
  • Recognize impacts to projects when trades underperform;
  • Be goal and process orientated;
  • Have the ability to read construction drawings;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Take on initiatives and be an out of the box thinker;
  • Facilitate and take instructions well from leaders, is a good listener and acts on directions;
  • Be a Team Player and be prepared to learn and grow with the organization;
  • Bilingual in French/english.
