Adecco is currently hiring for a Construction Technician role for our client, servicing the cannabis industry, located outside of Brantford in Langton, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with general labour duties on the clients’ property, which is currently in the construction phase. This is a full-time, permanent placement role with growth potential. The successful candidate will be flexible to work all shifts, focusing on days, afternoons, or nights as required. Upon completion of the required work, the candidate would transition forward as a full-time member of the client’s maintenance team.

Compensation is based on an hourly wage, there are shift premiums for overtime, and there are significant opportunities for advancement for great candidates who want to move upward within the company.

Construction Technician’s Responsibilities:
- Assist with operators on construction site
- Load/unload materials into trucks/disposal bins
- Assist with set up and take down of equipment
- Snow removal and general site maintenance
- Additional duties as assigned by site supervisors

Construction Technician’s Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Ability to work on your feet for 8-10 hours per day
- Must be comfortable with lifting repetitively, and completing physical tasks
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
