Adecco is currently hiring for a Contract Assistant in Downtown Toronto. To qualify for the Contract Assistant role, you must have previous experience completing data entry, administrative duties, and possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficient workflow.

We are looking for individuals who can work in a timely manner to meet deadlines and collaborate with the team. Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the Services Industry. This is a 1-year contract position working with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Contract Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Administrative tasks including opening and publishing contracts in Fieldglass and Ariba, assisting with contract related inquiries received from eCommerce teams and providing contract information etc.
  •  Assists eCommerce team with operational, process and technical questions regarding the use of the procurement tools (Ariba, Fieldglass)
  • Works with Sr. Contracts Manager to determine business requirements and objectives for all agreements
  • Ensure all agreements are using the appropriate contract template and that the individual is following Corporate Policy and Procedures as they relate to contracting.
  • Ongoing review of new and existing supplier contracts for improvement opportunities
  •  Develop contract summaries for the Senior Contracts Manager
  • Develop contract including software and licensing’s status reports on a weekly basis for the Sr. Contracts Manager
  • Assist with invoicing process within the eCommerce team and work with eCommerce team to ensure each Vendor of record is enabled in procurement applications
  • Own the enablement process end to end for all applications
  • Daily tasks may include but are not limited to updating excel contract tracker, tracking all agreements, issuing NDAs, updating quarterly tracker, printing all Agreements, following up on all outstanding items including security and privacy assessments etc.
  • Works with Senior Contracts Manager on related projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Contract Assistant Qualifications:

  • Minimum University/College Degree
  • At least 2 – 5 years in an eCommerce or an administration role
  • Knowledge of Ariba and Fieldglass is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Attention to detail, spelling and grammar
